Deploying SQLServer Reports on Report Server

This could be easy stuff to do for many, I am just blogging for a reference.

In order to deploy / publish your reports on the report server

1. Open up your reports project using SQL Server Business Intelligence Studio.
2. Right click on your solution name and go to properties
3. Under Deployment put in value for “TargetServerURL”
4. Typical example could be http://(yourservername)/reportserver
5. From Build menu choose Deploy Reports.

That's it , its as simple as that.
